School Meals and Packed Lunches

The cost of a paid school dinner is currently £2.10, £10.50 per week. Please contact the school office for the updated cost of school dinners in September 2018 as we are usually informed of this in September.

School Meals should be requested at the beginning of each half-term to enable the cook to order food. Children do not have to have a school dinner every day, but please let us know in advance which days they will require a dinner.

Money for school meals needs to paid in advance of the meals being taken and can either be paid via ParentPay (if you do not have a ParentPay log-in, please contact the school office) or by cash/cheque in an enveloped with your child's' name and class clearly marked.

Credits for dinners paid for and not taken will be carried forward to the following week value for money.

Whilst we encourage all Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children to take a free school meal, children from all year groups children may bring a packed lunch, which is eaten in the canteen.

As a “healthy school” we encourage you to send your child with a healthy packed lunch. Packed lunches must not contain sweets or fizzy drinks. Any drinks provided with packed lunches must be sent in suitable containers, preferably made of plastic, with screw tops so that unfinished drink can be taken home, they need to be safely and easily handled by the child, so no glass or fragile containers please. Water is available for all children in the canteen.
