At Starbeck School we aim to provide our children with memorable and powerful learning experiences and promote an ethos of self-belief, respect, resilience and high expectations for ourselves and others in everything we learn and achieve.
As an enhanced mainstream school for social, emotional and mental health (SEMH), we strive to provide an inclusive, caring and supportive environment in which pupils are valued equally and are given opportunities to develop and to reach aspirational targets
Outstanding performances from the Djembe Drumming Group and Starbeck School Choir at the Harrogate Competative Festival.
Well done to Mrs Rowntree and the recorder group. They played with confidence at the Harrogate Competitive Festival and won their group! We are immensely proud of them all.
School will be open as normal today (Friday 2nd March)
Sarah, the local vet, came into school to talk to the Reception children about how vets look after and care for animals.

"Another great evening of sport tonight! Our very first netball team took to the courts for an inter-school competition. It certainly was tough competition for our team but they played so well and loved the experience. Special mention to Luke Harry who was awarded a special recognition award for his 'passion' for the game, chasing down every ball. Thank you to Mrs McKenzie for running our after-school netball club and inspiring children to try the sport -hopefully she will still have a voice tomorrow after cheering the team on tonight. Mr DCM"
